Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you use the Careful Towing website or request towing, recovery, roadside assistance, machinery transport or related services. If a written quotation or service agreement contains different terms, the written agreement takes precedence for that service.
Quotes and authorisation
Pricing depends on the vehicle or equipment, location, destination, access, distance, time, recovery method and information available when the quote is prepared. Additional work or materially different site conditions may change the price. A service begins once the customer or an authorised representative accepts the quote or instructs dispatch.
Accurate information and access
Please provide accurate vehicle, location, condition and access information. Tell us about restricted access, low clearance, accident damage, missing keys, locked steering, seized wheels, hazardous loads or any other condition that may affect safe recovery or transport.
Safety
Customers and bystanders must follow reasonable safety instructions and remain outside the operator’s working area. Careful Towing may pause or decline work where conditions are unsafe, unlawful or require equipment that is not available.
Vehicle condition and belongings
Where practical, record existing vehicle damage and remove valuables before transport. Careful Towing is not responsible for undisclosed defects, ordinary wear, loose personal belongings or loss caused by inaccurate information, except where responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
Payment, cancellations and delays
Payment terms will be confirmed in the quote or service instruction. Reasonable cancellation or call-out charges may apply after dispatch. Arrival estimates can be affected by traffic, weather, road closures, emergency-scene controls and the availability of suitable equipment.
